Salary: £52,000 + Plenty of Overtime
Hours – Monday to Friday 7am-3pm / 9am-6pm

PRS are currently looking for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a FM service provider who are recruiting for a Critical Site in Abingdon, Oxford. The successful candidates will be Mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
In this exciting and strategic role you will be responsible for Operating and maintaining all mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability as well as Monitoring and troubleshooting site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc).
Duties:
1. Operating and maintaining all mechanical, and HVAC equipment and systems under a rigorous change management system to maintain 100% uptime availability
2. Monitoring and troubleshooting site/plant equipment support systems to include logging and responding to incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/ resolution and all other aspects of site support (mechanical, HVAC, generators, fire alarms and suppression etc)
3. Utilising maximum capabilities of all operational systems including BMS, PMS, CMS
4. Ensure environmental conditions are maintained at all times together with 100% uptime of all M&E critical building systems.
5. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive and breakdown works to all mechanical and electrical systems
6. Carrying out daily emergency callout tasks
7. Completing logbooks and RAMS
8. Attending client meetings
9. Engineers must be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of AHU, FCU, UPS, Generators, LV systems, which will include the ability to fault find.
