What matters to us
* Degree in Computer Science Studies, verifiable training in computer sciences or degree in Construction Engineering in combination with solid expertise in the field of information technology is a must.
* Fully conversant with Data Security standards and requirements (e.g. ISO27001).
* Strong communication skills at all levels.
* Construction site experience in large projects (between 200m and 1bn contractual value) in a comparable position is desirable.
* Solid expertise in information technology platforms (Office 365, Windows operating systems, Lotus Notes) and networking.
* Expertise in construction software solutions (Bentley products, Primavera, CostOS, PRISM, ArcGIS, etc.) is desirable.
Your contribution to our company
* Responsible and accountable for the development and effectiveness of the IT Technical team.
* Coordination and prioritization of all information technology tasks of the project Incident and problem management in coordination with several service desks of the parent groups of the joint venture and the designer.
* Coordination and control of access and right management in agreement with the management team of the project.
* Cost control of the hardware (mobiles, smartphones, notebooks, PCs, and equipment) as well as third party software solutions.
* Coordination of the setup and administration of the IT platforms within Strabag UK Ltd, whilst overseeing any Projects and JV partnerships.
* Procurement through group providers and administration and cost control of software packages.
* Requirement and demand management between the project organization and the IT representatives of the parent groups.
* Coordination of IT specialist support.
* Setup and management of IT Data Security in line with the GDPR legislation.
* Liaising with other project disciplines to implement their requirements and interfaces.
* Preparation and installation of IT and communication in the main office and on all satellite offices (site offices).
* Responsible and accountable for monitoring IT service levels provided by the Group, JV partners and third parties.
* Responsible and accountable for the overall resolution of such issues.
