Role Overview: They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their vibrant team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons, ensuring all students are supported in their learning. Lead classroom activities and manage the classroom environment in the absence of the teacher. Support the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback and reports as required. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community. Essential Criteria: Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience. Proven experience working in a school setting, preferably within the primary or secondary phase. Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently. A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students. Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle due to the location on the school. Desirable Criteria: Experience working with students with special educational needs. First Aid qualification.
