What skills and experience we're looking for
Our team are looking to welcome a motivated teacher with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in Science. We are a fast developing and innovative area of the school and have made Science an extremely popular and successful subject at Myton.
We welcome applications from ECT’s looking for their first teaching role or more experienced colleagues looking to work in with school with high standards and incentives for sharing best practice. There will also be opportunities to work collaboratively and for professional development.
What the school offers its staff
In the last set of public examinations in 2024, 77% of our students achieved 2 or more GCSE science qualifications at grade 4 or above. 26% of these students achieved at least two grade 7’s. At A Level, our sciences contribute to our Ofsted-rated “Outstanding” 6th Form with consistently strong outcomes in all courses.
