Job Description:
The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is recruiting a Band 6-7 Biomedical Scientist in Haematology/Transfusion to work in Manchester. We seek a biomedical scientist capable of supporting the laboratory’s service effectively.
* Position: Biomedical Scientist
* Banding: 6/7
* Location: Manchester
* Hours: Full-time (9:00 to 17:30)
* Duration: 3 months/Ongoing
Responsibilities:
As a Biomedical Scientist in haematology and blood transfusion, you should have extensive experience with analysers for full blood counts (FBC) and coagulation. You will maintain and troubleshoot analysers, load and operate them, and ensure correct blood typing for recipients.

Essential Requirements:
* HCPC registration
* Microtomy experience
* Experience in UK NHS or private haematology labs
* Knowledge of coagulation, blood film morphology, blood grouping, and antibody testing
* Experience with Sysmex, Beckman Coulter Dxh, or BioRad IH-1000 analyzers
