As an RF Engineer, you’ll be helping to deliver complex and unique challenges for Roke’s National Security customers to enable mission critical success. Your responsibilities will be varied and wide ranging, as shown below:
The Key Responsibilities…
1. Responsible to System Design Authority (SDA) and Project Manager (PM)
2. Undertake engineering development tasks to time, budget and quality
3. Provide accurate estimates of effort and complexity, and identify risks
4. Engage with other multi-disciplinary technical experts
5. Compliance with Roke policies and procedures (such as REP)
6. Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holder’s experience and qualifications, as may be required for the smooth operation of the business.
The Key Requirements...
1. Manage the derived requirements of RF sub-systems, contributing to solving client needs
2. Design of RF, analogue, interface, control and conversion circuits
3. Write and conduct sub-system tests for your designs
4. Produce supporting documentation, in accordance with Roke Engineering Process
5. Support integration and test activities
6. Contribute to the Roke Innovation process (where appropriate)
7. Contribute to an RF relevant Profession within Roke
8. Manage your professional development with your line-manager.
Due to the nature of this role, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 10 years.
