IT Development & Operations Technician Location: Enfield Role Overview: Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, the IT Development & Operations Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer systems and software, alongside developing and enhancing the cybersecurity framework. This is a dynamic role that offers the opportunity to play a key part in the development of the companys IT infrastructure. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Everyday IT Support: Printer setup and troubleshooting Onboarding new laptops and O365 accounts Managing IT security General troubleshooting for laptops and devices Intranet Development: Help develop internal tools using PowerApps and PowerAutomate Work with Dataverse and Power BI dashboards Manage SharePoint document system Cybersecurity & O365 Capacity: Contribute to enhancing company cyber security measures Improve O365 functionality IT Department Development: Assist in building and expanding the IT department Asset Management: Identify equipment shortages and place necessary orders Register IT assets in the companys system Person Specification: Proven experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role Proven Powerapps experience Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, both oral and written In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks Solid knowledge of internet security and data privacy Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Certification in Cyber Security Management (BSc or equivalent) Ability to prioritize and manage workloads effectively Excellent organizational and time-management skills High attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach Health, Safety, and Environment Responsibilities: Participate in toolbox talks and safety alerts Report incidents to the Managing Director Ensure compliance with company QEHS guidelines and report any incidents as per the companys procedures Assist in achieving all QEHS objectives and maintaining high QEHS standards Equality & Diversity: Acknowledge and adhere to the company's commitment to equal opportunities Respect clients and colleagues at all times Role Profile: Imagine innovative solutions to improve IT and cybersecurity.
