We're excited to announce that we are hiring for a Business Support Team Lead to manage a team of business assistants who perform essential business support tasks. This role focuses on overseeing and optimising core business, technical, and administrative processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring efficient operations in support of the Jealott’s Hill site. The role is crucial in engaging with stakeholders, ensuring high-quality service delivery. developing team members and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness. Responsibilities will include:
* Embedding a continuous improvement approach to business support activities to improve the customer experience at all touch points
* Identifying innovative solutions to drive automation and efficiency in underlying processes
* Demonstrating strong change management leadership and communication as the business support team and site needs evolve.
* Lead the personal and professional development of the business support team to enable them to perform their responsibilities to a high standard, promoting a growth mindset, and identifying skills gaps and training needs.
* Developing and owning a succession plan for key roles and building resilience for essential activities.
* Ensuring the business support team maintain auditable records of all activities, policies, and procedures.
* Playing a leading role in exchanging knowledge, thinking and good practices across the Crop Protection R&D business, partnering with other relevant professionals and business leaders.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of office management principles, task management, diverse administrative processes, and business operations.
* Advanced proficiency in communications, workflow and business software platforms (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Ariba, ServiceNow etc).
* Strong experience in administrative or business support roles, with proven experience in a leadership position with an ability to motivate and develop others.
* Detail-oriented with a passion for high-quality, customer-focused delivery.
* Demonstrated ability in building, developing and leading a customer centric team while driving continuous improvement.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience.
* Excellent communicator adept at prioritizing tasks, leading change, and adapting to changing requirements
* Experience in process improvement methodologies and project management is desirable.
