Support Worker
1st Homecare, a specialist provider of personalised homecare support operating throughout Scotland, provides a range of care and support services for vulnerable adults.
We’re seeking to recruit great new support workers; people with the right values and attitude to work in our care service – could this be you?
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Mileage paid at 30p per mile
About the role:
At 1st Homecare, we treat our people with the same respect, care, and consideration that we show to the people we support. The role will include visiting several homes within a shift, providing the people we support with daily living tasks which include:
* Assisting with all aspects of personal care
* Meal preparation and serving
* Medication prompts
* Catheter care
The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals, and they all deserve to be treated as such. As a care at home support worker, you will provide support with:
* Personal Care
* Meal Preparation
* Administration of Medication
* Emotional Support
* Companionship
Shifts will follow the work pattern below:
* Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday - working 7 am - 2 pm, then 4 pm - 10 pm - 40 hours
* Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday - working 7 am - 2 pm, then 4 pm - 10 pm - 30 hours
Please note: If you are not living in the East Ayrshire area, you would need to be a driver to be considered for this position.
