About the role
Welcome to the Boots.com Fragrance team, an exciting team within Boots UK that is at the heart of our growth plans as more customers look to us for online help, advice, and of course, beauty and fragrance inspiration. As customers are changing, so are we: focusing on really understanding our customers’ needs and making the most of our great products and services to optimise the online shopping experience and improve growth.
As an Ecommerce Assistant for the Fragrance category, you will be part of the wider Beauty eCommerce trading team, supporting the daily trade of our exciting, fast-paced fragrance category and how our incredible brands show up on boots.com to help achieve growth targets.
What you’ll need to have
1. Responsible for how your categories show up across boots.com, supporting to increase the total online revenue and profit targets, and Fragrance market share ambitions.
2. To understand the drivers within the Fragrance category, the market, and the immediate market share for Fragrance.
3. Support the legal and safe trade of own categories online and delivery of Indicators.
4. Manage the NPD and sales plan briefing process ensuring accurate and on-time delivery and checking the customer journey on the website.
5. Support the Ecommerce Trading Leads to develop and deliver the online trade plan, working with our key suppliers, trading, partnership marketing, supply, merchandising and our digital operations team to land our products and promotions right first time.
About you
1. Digital experience working in an e-commerce role or able to demonstrate an active interest in e-commerce with trading experience.
2. Trading experience and financial knowledge able to analyse financial performance.
3. Understanding and exposure to performance marketing and the trading levers.
4. Adaptable and able to maintain excellent prioritisation and organisation skills within a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with all partners.
IMPORTANT NOTE
This role requires regular working outside normal office hours. This typically involves working from 5am one or two times a month and occasional overnight working e.g. for major launches. In general, you will be expected to be flexible with your working hours to meet business and customer needs.
