Position Details: Location: Wigan (various schools) Role: Cover Teacher (all subject specialisms welcome) Start Date: Immediate or from the upcoming term Salary: £120 - £150 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Contract: Flexible day-to-day, short-term, or long-term placements Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups (KS3 and KS4). Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, ensuring students stay engaged and on task. Support students with their learning and address any immediate questions or needs. Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies. Adapt quickly to new environments and establish rapport with students and staff. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but applications are also welcome from experienced educators and confident graduates. Previous experience in a teaching or cover role within secondary education. Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to learning.
