General Manager For London Equestrian Centre
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee all operations at our prestigious equestrian facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and commercial success of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability
* Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including lessons/hacks, training programs, and events
* Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Lead and develop a team of department heads and staff members
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
* Oversee facility maintenance
* Coordinate and manage equestrian events and competitions
* Drive marketing initiatives and business development opportunities
* Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the facility
Minimum Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years experience in a similar general management role within the equestrian industry
* Full UK driving license
* Strong commercial acumen and proven business management experience
* Outstanding leadership and team management abilities
* Strong understanding of equestrian facility operations and industry standards
* Proven track record in driving business growth and operational excellence
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Problem-solving abilities and crisis management experience
This is a senior leadership position requiring a combination of commercial expertise and equestrian industry knowledge.
Days/hours: 42.5 hours per week. Tues, Wed, Fri 8.30am-6pm and Sat and Sun 7.30am-5pm. One hour lunch break. During school holidays you will be required to work a Thursday and take a day off at the weekend.
