Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for securing new stockists for Benjamin Moore paints in the independent retail channel and supporting brand development in existing customers. Key objectives include:
* Achieving sales and profit targets by securing new Independent paint retailers in the London/South East Region.
* Increasing premium brand share with existing and future Benjamin Moore stockists.
* Driving incremental sales to professional painters supporting independent retailers and company showrooms.
* Representing Benjamin Moore UK at national exhibitions and events.
Qualifications
* A minimum of 3 years' experience selling into independent home improvement/building materials retailers, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiating skills, with evidence of strong sales discipline.
* Ability to present confidently and build strong relationships, demonstrating exceptional customer service.
* Self-motivated, driven to succeed, and professional, with flexibility and integrity.
* Interest in Interior Design and ability to discuss color, design, and technology competently.
* Experience in a field-based role, with good organizational skills and proactive operation.
* Sound educational background, with degree-level qualifications preferred or equivalent experience.
* Proficient in MS Office and possess a clean driving license, current passport, and eligibility to work in the UK.
* Willingness to travel throughout the defined territory and attend occasional evening or weekend events.
* Must physically reside within the South East Region of the UK.
