ROLE - Quality Manager
LOCATION – West Sussex
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience
I’m working with an established manufacturer who are based in West Sussex, they currently have an urgent requirement for a Quality Manager who has a background in Engineering or a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
* Formulate and execute quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards that comply with industry regulations and align with company goals.
* Supervise the comprehensive quality assurance process, including inspections, audits, and oversight of quality control testing for products and processes.
* Establish clear and quantifiable quality objectives that are in line with overall business goals and customer expectations.
* Perform regular audits and inspections to detect potential quality issues and implement corrective measures.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout product development and manufacturing.
* Track and analyse quality performance metrics, producing reports and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
* Handle customer feedback and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and the implementation of preventive actions.
Skills
* Demonstrated experience as a Quality Manager in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
* At least 5 years of experience as a Quality Manager or Quality Engineer
* Experienced in compiling and analyzing Quality Metrics.
* Proficient with industry standards such as ISO 9001, and other relevant regulations.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively support thorough Root Cause Analysis audits.
