Scope:
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Medical Devices team. This role will involve providing comprehensive support across both product and communications functions, including coordinating packaging requirements, managing artwork processes, and supporting various commercial and corporate projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Packaging & Artwork Coordination: Support the Medical Devices Product team by coordinating all packaging requirements across markets. This includes guiding change control processes, ensuring accurate updates and creation of packaging artwork files, and maintaining regulatory conformity.
* Artwork Management: Work with external agencies to brief and guide the creation and updates of packaging artwork files. Ensure all packaging materials meet required regulatory standards and are consistent across the portfolio.
* Packaging Specifications & GS1 Expertise: Update and create packaging specifications, including labelling, and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GS1 (Global Standards 1).
* Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and liaise with printers to ensure timely and efficient packaging changes, minimizing scrap and meeting all deadlines.
* Corporate Initiatives: Partner with Pharmaceutical Services to manage artwork updates related to corporate initiatives and ensure alignment with overall brand and product strategies.
* Artwork Filing & Database Management: Manage the packaging artwork folder and ensure current artwork versions are filed correctly. Maintain a master database cataloguing all relevant product details, including item codes, packaging codes, EANs, and packing specifications.
* Market Research & Benchmarking: Organise and support product device testing, market research, and benchmarking activities for marketing purposes.
* Promotional Literature: Oversee the artwork approval process for promotional literature and support the management of the Asset Library.
* Exhibition Support: Assist with the planning and coordination of exhibitions, ensuring all necessary materials are prepared and available.
* Financial Review: Conduct a financial review of sales rolling forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning for the Medical Devices team.
* Project Administration: Take notes during meetings, provide general project administration, and raise Purchase Orders (POs) as needed for the Medical Devices team.
* Additional Support: Provide ad-hoc support to the Medical Devices team as required, ensuring smooth execution of various tasks and projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Great organisation, admin and time management skills.
* Excellent attention to detail with experience in content and copy checking.
* Computer literate of Microsoft Office, with experience of quality management systems and working in a regulated business environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication; able to communicate confidently and effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally with commercial awareness.
* Experience in a corporate marketing environment is desirable.
