Throughout the apprenticeship you will be supported as required and will continue learning through Forth Valley College:\n\nâ¢\tSupport Engineers with their work activities.\nâ¢\tProvide Electrical and Instrumentation maintenance support to Production facility as per schedules, duties include (but are not limited to): reacting promptly to breakdowns, instrument calibration, test and inspection, equipment overhauls and carrying out scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance.\nâ¢\tProvide mechanical maintenance support within the confines of recognised competencies and capabilities.\nâ¢\tInstallation and commissioning of new equipment/machinery, including variable speed inverters, control systems and electrical distribution (HV/LV switchgear). \nâ¢\tInstalling, inspecting and repairing equipment in (ATEX/DSEAR) hazardous areas.\nâ¢\tMaintain service records for plant and equipment, including monitoring and reporting on equipment running conditions.\nâ¢\tManage all work activity within the site Computerised Maintenance Management System.\nâ¢\tContribute to incident investigations and equipment failure root cause analysis to design out issues and improve maintenance practices.\nâ¢\tSuccessfully complete all necessary training (job competency, Safety Health & Environment and regulatory). \nâ¢\tUsing knowledge of plant control systems, participate in HAZOPs, MoC, SIL Assessments etc.\nâ¢\tCoordination with management to ensure spare parts availability and specification; active participant in obsolescence review.\nâ¢\tMeet company targets and help drive continuous improvement in operational efficiencies and Safety Health &Environment. \nâ¢\tComplete all administrative and data collection tasks as required.\nâ¢\tCarry out all work in a hygienic manner and contribute to the hygienic condition of the site as a whole.\nâ¢\tContribute to Standard Operating Procedure development.\nâ¢\tProvide shift/out of hours plant support as required.
