Our client is now looking for an Electrical Testing Engineer “Hillingdon Area”.
As an Electrical Testing Engineer, you will report to the Supervisor / Contract Manager, and you are the first point of contact between the business and our client. You must have good written and oral communication skills and have a high level of technical knowledge across the electrical industry.
Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-17.00 with weekend work and overtime available upon request!
Main Duties:
- Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, servicing, inspecting, and testing
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults
- Carry out electrical remedial works
- Undertake new electrical inspections
- Action reactive electrical works
- Complete emergency lighting inspections and repairs
- Carry out company works as required and to desired standards
- Provide the highest level of customer care
- Comply with company procedures and policies
- Produce reporting on time and to agreed standards
- Adhere to the company’s quality management system and recycle correctly and responsibly
Experience & Skills:
- UK Driving Licence (required)
- Experience in electrical repair, maintenance, servicing & installations, preferably within the public sector
- A sound knowledge of tools, equipment & materials common to the Electrical Trade
- Current Trade Qualifications
- Good communication skills, both verbal & written
- The ability to interpret schematics and electrical drawings
- IT literate
- A commitment to great customer service
