We will accept applicants on both a staff and contract basis however, staff is much preferred by the client. Involved in the design and delivery of bespoke mechanical machinery and mechanical handling equipment. Ensure procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities. Contribute to Project Safety Assessment process. Ensure task and project risks are communicated and managed appropriately. Produce, review and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation and technical reports as assigned.You will have the following qualifications & experience Nuclear experience is not a requirement, we welcome applications from all engineering backgrounds. Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types. Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities. Good communication skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines.It’s great if you also have the following Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering, or equivalent experience in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.The setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a nuclear licenced site. These can include, nuclear fuel, radiation, chemicals and gasses, high voltage equipment, moving vehicles, flammable materials, high pressure circuits, steam, high noise and vibration levels. A full site induction will be provided and all safety requirements must be adhered to when entering the site.
