Discover your style Everyone’s journey on our Client Service s Apprentice Programme will be different. You will be assigned a home team within Client Services where you will spend most of your time but given the vast number of teams within Client Services, we will also ensure that you complete at least one secondment to a dif ferent team after the initial 2 years are completed. Our programme is four years in total providing you with lots of opportunities to learn and expand your breadth of knowledge. Responsibilities are varied depending on the home team but could encompass tasks such as reporting investment performance returns, preparing client and marketing materials as well as responding to clien t and prospect que stionnaires. You will spend time learning your role, developing your skills and building strong relationships. We will be here to support you at each step of your journey. What might a day in this job look like? There will be a variety of tasks and responsibilities in your role which might include: Keeping our client s’ information up to date Working closely with client facing and operational colleagues P rovid ing information to clients and respond ing to queries Complet ing regular team tasks Providing administrat ive support Participate in team projects and meetings Working with colleagues to enhance the service we provide What will I l earn? The apprenticeship pro gramme will provide a mixture of classroom-based and on-the-job training to allow you to achieve an SVQ in Business Administration at SCQF Level 6. Y ou will also be expected to sit and pass the Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) modules during the first two years of your apprenticeship. This will be a combination of technical training to do your job to the best of your ability, professional skills courses, and the opportunity to learn about the investment management industry. What Qualifications / Qualities are ? Excellent communication skills Ability to build strong relationships Strong customer focus The ability to work well in a team A positive attitude and enthusiastic manner Good organisation and time management skills The ability to work methodically and accurately A National 5 in Maths and English, or equivalent, as a minimum Due to the nature of the learning pathway, the role is an on-site position, based in our Edinburgh office.
