Job Overview
We are seeking an adaptable individual with a positive and forward-thinking “can do” attitude. You will be the first point of contact for anyone making contact with the service. An empathetic and compassionate attitude is essential for this role.
Previous administration experience in a similar role is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the Urgent Care and Reablement Service.
* Managing your own workload, multitasking, and working to deadlines.
* Answering and responding appropriately to telephone calls from staff, service users, and the public.
* Overseeing staff annual leave and sickness, with guidance from managers.
* Booking and overseeing staff training, with guidance from managers.
* Raising purchase orders and monitoring financial spend on the purchase card.
* Maintaining staff information, ensuring records are in line with GDPR and confidentiality standards.
* Managing projects to improve administrative functions within the service.
* Supporting recruitment and induction of new staff, with management guidance.
* Documenting records of conversations/discussions on the electronic records system.
* Taking minutes at informal and formal meetings.
* Performing any additional administrative tasks as required by the team.
