About the role You will report to the Security Operations Manager EMEA and work closely with your counterparts in the Dublin and Bucharest offices to provide an excellent security service to the client at their London office. This is predominantly Monday to Friday office hours, however, there is the expectation that you manage your hours and flexibility with regard to the operational and staffing needs attending site as required. Roles & Responsibilities: Client Orientation Provide outstanding customer service to the client employees, guests, visitors, vendors and contractors in all interactions. Establish and maintain productive partnerships with clients and Provincial management by gaining their trust and respect. Identify client needs and match them with appropriate solutions. Conduct Security Event Plans for all events as directed. Meet timeline of delivery for client and Provincial expectations Managing Performance Manage the on-site security team (3) and day to day operational security requirements of client in London. Empower team members with skills to improve their competence and character. Manage on-boarding and provide mentoring & training to the Security team to ensure all team members operate to their full potential and have a detailed understanding of internal policies, procedures and systems. Monitor teams progress against KPI's. Give guidance on best practices and coaching where required, advising Provincial Management of performance issues. Identify team training and development needs. Communicate training needs or gaps to Provincial. Monitor and manage the on-site Security Team uniform standards and deportment. Communication Demonstrate openness in sharing information and keeping people informed. Work closely with colleagues across the region especially to support during busy times or assist when colleagues are on leave. Communicate with confidence when engaging with client, team and other teams within the client and Provincial Community. Maintain regular communication with client Corporate Security and Provincial Management. Attend scheduled meetings and produce reports on site activities, non-compliance, staff welfare issues, etc. Complete weekly reporting each Friday (e.g., Weekly Security Report, Weekly Roster). Professionalism Create a positive working environment that inspires the team. Contribute to the event planning as directed. Resource and support events as required. Develop and maintain a set of SOPs in cooperation with Provincial and client Corporate Security Management through an extensive knowledge of client procedures and systems. Develop an understanding of the Corporate Security goals and assist in delivering them in line with Provincial vision. Coordination of the first line of response to fire, security, health and safety incidents in accordance with established site procedures and policies. Role Requirements 2-3 years leadership experience Security event planning Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to work in and learn new systems quickly; presentation skills, excel and reports.
