“Hi, I am 10-year-old young lad looking for a Support Worker to join my existing team - I don’t care what your age, gender or orientation is, but I would prefer someone enthusiastic that can think outside of the box to keep me busy and safe.
You should have a great sense of humour, are kind, honest and happy to support me in getting out and about and completing my therapies. I need support with my personal care and all aspects of daily living, I use a wheelchair to get around, although I can walk small distances with support, and I have my own wheelchair accessible van. I’m very active and I like all things sensory so you must be creative and be prepared to keep up with my change of activities. I live with my family who are very important to me.
I am looking for someone to join my existing team and assist me in reaching my rehabilitation goals and make sure I am well looked after and accessing activities that I enjoy.”
