Band 7 Locum Cath Lab Radiographer Job Title: Cath Lab Radiographer Banding: 7 Location: West Hertfordshire Working Hours: 30 hours (4 days x 7.5 hour shifts) Rate: £26.00 - £31.00 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Locum Cath Lab Radiographer to join a dynamic and fast-paced cardiology team in West Hertfordshire. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge equipment in a highly regarded Cardiac Catheterisation Lab, assisting in a variety of interventional cardiology and electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities : As a Cath Lab Radiographer, you will play a vital role in supporting interventional cardiac procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, pacemaker insertions, and electrophysiology studies. You will be responsible for operating fluoroscopy equipment, ensuring optimal imaging quality while maintaining patient safety. Working closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, you will provide expert radiographic support, ensuring procedures run efficiently. You will also adhere to radiation protection protocols, infection control policies, and quality assurance standar ds while delivering excellent patient care. Requirements: HCPC registration is essential. Degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification. Extensive experience working in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment. Proficiency in fluoroscopy and interventional radiographic techniques. Strong knowledge of radiation safety procedures and quality assurance. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
