Location: Stockport & East Cheshire (Multi-site)
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a Pastoral Lead to join our clients independent SEMH Schools and support the wellbeing, behaviour, and safeguarding of students across our independent schools in Stockport and East Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Role:
As Pastoral Lead, you will:
* Champion student welfare - promote a positive, inclusive school culture that celebrates student achievements
* Safeguard students - work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils
* Provide targeted interventions - support students from vulnerable groups, monitoring and evaluating their progress
* Manage behaviour support - oversee students with Behaviour Support Plans, Pastoral Support Plans, and EHCPs
* Promote positive behaviour - foster a respectful, friendly, and supportive school environment
* Engage with parents and carers - build strong relationships to support student success
* Work collaboratively - liaise with the Senior Leadership Team, SENDCo, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students
What We're Looking For:
* A committed and passionate individual with a strong understanding of SEND/SEMH needs
* A minimum of two years' experience working in a SEND environment or similar setting
* Experience in pastoral support, behaviour management, or safeguarding within an educational setting
* A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting young people
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
