We are looking to recruit to our busy housekeeping team an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated person to provide a comprehensive housekeeping service to the North Somerset Community Hospital Site, based in Clevedon. As a housekeeper, you will coordinate non-clinical ward services such as catering, cleaning, equipment and supplies As this is a very varied and demanding role, the applicant must possess great organisational abilities and ability to prioritise, good communication skills and a proactive can do approach to tasks. You must also be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Variety of shifts available, to include early mornings and weekends The post holder will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive housekeeping service at North Somerset Community Hospital as part of a team. The role supports the overall hospital objectives. The post holder is required to undertake routine cleaning activities and hostess duties. These duties are task driven and require a basic level of competence within a limited amount of time and are performed under the direction of the Hotel Service Manager. Differing levels of workload and requests from staff will- require the post-holder to re-evaluate priorities on a day to day basis to ensure a continuous high standard of cleanness in all clinical, office and public areas.
