The Role
This position is responsible for adhering to company standard operating procedures and ensuring client satisfaction. The Record Centre Operative manages daily activities in the record centre, utilizing software to control movement at various levels, and assists drivers with loading and unloading vehicles. The role is based in Stanford-Le-Hope, London Gateway.
Key Responsibilities
1. Complete all client work orders promptly upon receipt.
2. Process rush work orders accurately and efficiently.
3. Prepare staging for Transport Specialists / Drivers before dispatch.
4. Refile files, containers, and tapes daily within designated timescales.
5. Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on all record centre equipment.
6. Maintain racking and storage areas, report repairs needed.
7. Assist with unloading/loading trucks and vans.
8. Conduct audits as scheduled or upon request.
9. Process destruction orders as scheduled or requested.
10. Complete daily paperwork before end of shift.
11. Perform inbound tasks following SOPs.
12. Ensure compliance with data protection legislation to safeguard client and team member information.
13. Follow all company policies and complete mandatory training.
14. Report security, environmental, or health and safety incidents promptly.
