Hours: Full-time and Part-time roles – permanent roles and competitive rates.
Managers Role
The role requires:
1. Excellent planning, organisation and IT skills.
2. Wonderful communication and the ability to lead, motivate, engage and inspire your team.
3. Identify and record training needs and develop training plans for your team.
4. Recruiting, inducting, supporting and conducting appraisals and one-to-one meetings with your team to lead them to success.
5. Upskilling the staff within your nursery to ensure that they lead their relevant areas or rooms effectively.
6. Budget management including running costs of the nursery.
7. Facilitation and readiness of inspections by regulatory bodies and implementation of recommendations (Ofsted).
Essentials
1. Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
2. Designated Safeguarding Lead.
3. Safer Recruitment Training.
4. Minimum of 2 years recent experience of working in a Nursery/Preschool setting within a Deputy Management role.
5. Excellent working knowledge of the current Early Years Inspection Framework.
6. Thorough working knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare requirements.
7. Strong understanding of health and safety and practical hygiene issues.
