The Opportunity:
Our new Field Sales Manager will be the conductor of the company’s revenue engine. This role will support an experienced sales team and help them to hit revenue forecasts and meet customer needs. They will know how to advise, motivate, and help their team become a high-performance team. The top objective of our Field Sales Manager is to meet company revenue targets, driving productivity in field execution and helping extract the best performance from each individual employee.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help manage & motivate the Sales team
* Spend a minimum of 3 days per week in the field coaching team members and building relationships with our key stakeholders
* Work in conjunction with our warehouse managing transport and delivery requirements
* Ensure the success of monthly sales focuses, new line launches and execution of over and above selling opportunities
* Utilise and support the Field team with Power BI and Purveyance reporting tools to understand and manage results against National KPI standards
* Liaise with Representatives on budgets
* Assess performance of team
* Other duties as required
* Provide relief to field team during leave periods
Financials:
* Deliver against the key elements of the budget
* Trade spend delivered in line with budget
* Forecasting support to manage the war on waste
Skills and Experiences:
* Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
* A team player with a positive attitude
* Flexibility with working hours as required
* Be prepared to travel within the state, regional and interstate as required
* To complete other duties as directed by your manager within individual competency requirements
* Comply with all Work, Health & Safety regulations at all times
* Proven ability to lead a team
* Lead by example with relationship building in field
