Key Duties
As the Head Nurse, you will have a pivotal role in managing the nursing team and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Your key responsibilities will include:
Nursing Team Management: Overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff, ensuring efficient workflows and a positive working and Rota Management: Maintaining appropriate stock levels, ensuring all necessary supplies are available, and organizing staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage.Student Training and Organization: Mentoring and guiding Student Veterinary Nurses, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support throughout their Performance Appraisal: Monitoring and evaluating staff performance, providing feedback and conducting performance Meeting Coordination: Arranging and leading regular team meetings to foster communication and teamwork.Clinical Coaching: Providing clinical guidance and support to the nursing team to uphold the highest standards of care.
