A well-established, industry-leading Surveying Practice that has been operating for over 200 years, is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their team of 100 staff due to continued growth. The Senior Building Surveyor will be completing a full range of building surveying services on both residential and commercial projects with a real mix of professional & project work. Clients include local authorities, commercial clients, private organisations, PFI & Building Managers, and Public Sectors. It is envisaged that the Senior Building Surveyor will operate from the Birmingham office, across sites, and from home as required.

Senior Building Surveyor Position Overview
* Conduct building surveys, inspections, and prepare reports.
* Manage projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and regulations.
* Provide advice on building regulations, planning, and safety standards.
* Supervise junior staff and collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Administer contracts, manage disputes, and oversee refurbishments or repairs.
* Ensure statutory compliance and advise on conservation and renovation projects.
Senior Building Surveyor Position Requirements
* Relevant degree / qualification
* Minimum of 4 years' building surveying experience
* Able to commute to Birmingham twice a week
* MRICS qualified
* Good tenure with private practice experience
