Programmatic Account Director – MANCHESTER
Role Background:
Performance & digital agencies plays a pivotal role in our continued growth, focusing
on driving programmatic advertising revenue through a network of independent and
bespoke digital buying agencies. You'll be responsible for developing and executing
a comprehensive sales strategy to drive programmatic OOH and mobile in-app
revenue. You'll have an entrepreneurial mindset, building your own pipeline and
commercial strategy for your assigned patch.
Reporting to the Head of Programmatic in the London office, you'll have the autonomy and support to develop your expertise and
achieve outstanding results in the Regions.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify and qualify high-potential
independent/boutique digital media agencies.
• Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to grow your portfolio of
agencies and brands.
• Forge strong and lasting relationships with these digital agency partners,
acting as a trusted advisor on programmatic OOH and mobile in-app
solutions.
• Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that showcase
the value proposition of i-media's offerings for their clients.
• Negotiate and close deals with agencies, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
• Manage and grow a high-value portfolio of assigned agencies, identifying
upselling and cross-selling opportunities for both DOOH and mobile in-app
solutions.
• Work collaboratively with marketing and internal teams to ensure seamless
campaign execution and delivery for all agency clients.
• Lead and mentor a Sales Executive, providing guidance to develop their
programmatic advertising expertise and sales skills.
Skills and Experience
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in programmatic or digital advertising sales,
with a demonstrated focus on digital channels (Display, CTV, DOOH, audio).
Experience selling mobile in-app advertising is a plus.
• Strong contacts within media agencies, and trading desks particularly
amongst independent/boutique and digital media agencies.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth
through strong agency relationship building.
• In-depth knowledge of programmatic buying principles, DSPs, SSPs, and how
they apply to both OOH and mobile in-app advertising.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple accounts
simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to campaign
optimisation.
• Experience leading and mentoring a sales team is a plus.
