The Opportunity
The Business Development Manager for Landmark Valuation Services (LVS) will be responsible for account and relationship management for our surveyor/valuer clients, supporting the Relationship Manager in developing accounts, acquiring new business and achieving allocated sales targets.
The role will involve:
12. Ensuring all KPIs are met including Salesforce usage and Salesforce records are kept up to date
13. Report on pipeline activity from Salesforce.
14. Developing cross-sell and upsell opportunities from the existing base of surveyor/valuer accounts
15. Setting up and demonstrating surveyor/valuer products (Vantage Case Manager and Vantage Surveyor) providing clients with a fully inclusive overview of our product offering in this space including benefits over the competition
16. Taking ownership of and be the conduit for customer projects which result in revenue, end-to-end
17. Acquire and maintain an excellent level of industry knowledge and intimate knowledge of customers
18. Establish and build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
19. Work with the marketing team to create suitable sales collateral to support the sales process
20. Work collaboratively with other departments and areas of the business to develop strong relationships
21. Work with technical staff, trainers, customer success and product specialists to address customer requirements
22. Represent Landmark and LVS and conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.
About You
You will be an experienced salesperson with strong selling and objective handling skills and experienced in using in-house CRM systems, preferably experience in using Salesforce.
You will also have/be:
23. Experience in a field sales/business development role
24. A track record of growing customer account
25. Experience in a customer facing role that requires some face-to-face contact
26. The ability to communicate confidently and clearly to customers and partners over the phone, email and in person
27. A full driving licence and own car for regular company travel.
28. An understanding of the mortgage/valuation process is highly desirable
29. A Level or equivalent qualifications which demonstrate commercial acumen
