Discover your style Everyone’s career journey on our Reception Apprentice Programme will be different. You will join us as a permanent employee, on a four-year learning programme. Your first two years will be spent working as an apprentice in our reception team, and thereafter as a t rainee. This is a role where you will be the face of Baillie Gifford, meeting and greeting visitors and providing them with assistance and support. Y ou will work as part of the team, supporting the operational elements that sit behind a reception. You will spend time learning your role, developing your skills, and building strong relationships. We will support you at each step of your journey. What might a day in this job look like? As a Modern Apprentice Reception Administrator, you will provide a high-quality service to all our internal and external clients. Your tasks will include: Welcoming visitors, ensuring an excellent client experience Handling incoming external phone calls to Baillie Gifford and referring these enquiries to the appropriate department Ensuring display literature in reception areas is up to date and the areas are kept clean and tidy Assisting with taxi bookings Assisting with room bookings and event coordination support Liaising with a range of internal and external clients What will I l earn? The apprenticeship programme will provide a mixture of classroom-based and on-the-job training, allowing you to achieve an SVQ in Business and Administration at SCQF Level 6. These will include technical training to do your job to the best of your ability, professional skills courses, and the opportunity to learn about the investment management industry. What Qualifications / Qualities are ?
