We are seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in a large Supply Chain ERP transformation, particularly leveraging Oracle Fusion. This is a SFIA Level 7 role, requiring leadership, strategic vision, and technical expertise to shape enterprise architecture and drive digital transformation. THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY As the Lead Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technology roadmaps. You will lead architectural governance, provide technical assurance, and guide transformation initiatives to modernise supply chain ERP capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with legacy systems. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure architecture decisions enable agility, innovation, and long-term sustainability. Your role will involve: • Define the strategic architecture vision, ensuring alignment with Supply Chain ERP modernisation objectives. • Establish and oversee enterprise architecture standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security requirements. • Lead a team of architects and provide guidance on solution design, integration, and best practices. • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insight on emerging technologies and their impact on supply chain operations. • Drive the adoption of Oracle Fusion ERP, cloud-based solutions, data-driven architectures, and interoperability frameworks. • Architectural designs meet security, regulatory, and performance requirements, particularly within a SIAM (Service Integration and Management) environment. • Mentor and develop internal teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and architectural best practices are embedded within the organisation. Essential Skills & Experience: • Proven experience in enterprise architecture, ERP transformation, and IT strategy within a complex, regulated environment. • Experience of transformation using integrations to segment legacy systems and progressively transform in logical phases. • Experience of Oracle Fusion ERP, cloud computing (Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud), enterprise integration, data architecture, and modern software architectures. • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing enterprise-wide architectural governance and standards. • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders, translate business needs into technical strategies, and drive architectural decisions. • Expertise in TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks. • Experience working within a SIAM model, ensuring interoperability across multiple service providers. • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NCSC guidelines) and secure-by-design principles. • Familiarity with ERP transformation, supply chain modernisation, and integration of Oracle Fusion. • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architectural modelling tools (e.g. Cameo, ArchiMate, EA Sparx). Desirable Skills: • Experience in supply chain ERP transformation, logistics, or procurement systems. • Understanding of AI/ML, automation, and emerging digital technologies. • Certification in TOGAF, ITIL v4, or cloud architecture frameworks (Azure/AWS/Oracle Cloud Architect). Exposure to data science and analytical tooling such as SAS or Posit. • Design and development of solutions in performance critical environments. This position is a full time, permanent role and applicants must have (or be able to acquire) SC clearance.
