Assembly Fitter We are looking for a skilled Assembly Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of heavy-duty shaftline seals, as well as working collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Carry out multi-component assemblies using hand tools and lifting equipment and the testing of large multi-component assemblies. Position, align, and torque assemblies to meet drawing specifications. Working with heavy mechanical assembly. Conducting in fault finding and problem solving. Conduct high-pressure water and air testing of assemblies. Cut, bond, and assemble rubber components to required specifications. Work closely with engineering teams to resolve non-conforming products and support engineering in development assembly. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures at all times. Support stores and packing teams as required by business demand. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Assemble and bond rubber components.What we're looking for: Experience in a production or engineering environment. Strong mechanical/assembly aptitude. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Experience with hydraulics, pipe fitting or heavy mechanical assembly would be desirable. Flexibility to work across different operational teams as required. A clean driver's license.
