Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for body art and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for designing and applying tattoos that meet the unique desires of our clients while ensuring a safe and hygienic environment. This role requires artistic skill, attention to detail, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
1. Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences, providing professional advice on design and placement.
2. Create custom tattoo designs that reflect the client's vision while adhering to health and safety standards.
3. Apply tattoos using proper techniques, ensuring high-quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
4. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following all hygiene protocols.
5. Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
6. Engage in social media management to promote your work and the studio's services, showcasing completed tattoos and client testimonials.
7. Upsell additional services such as aftercare products or follow-up appointments to enhance client experience.
8. Collaborate with team members in a supportive environment, sharing skills in areas such as eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, or makeup application if applicable.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your artistic abilities.
2. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
3. Experience in front desk operations is advantageous for managing appointments effectively.
4. Familiarity with social media platforms for promoting your work is highly desirable.
5. A background in hospitality or related fields can be beneficial in enhancing client interactions.
6. Skills in upselling services or products are a plus, contributing to overall business growth.
7. Additional skills in eyelash extensions, deep tissue massage, or barbering would be considered an asset but are not mandatory.
