Construction Project Manager
Job Overview
Our client, a fast growing independent developer of luxury homes is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and deliver high-end construction projects from inception through to completion. This role will focus on super prime new builds and development sites, with individual project values ranging between £1 million and £5 million.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record in managing complex construction projects, ensuring that all deliverables are achieved within set timelines and budgets. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interpret and utilise data for strategic, informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, super prime new builds and development projects ranging from £1m to £5m. Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading project planning sessions, ensuring all requirements are accurately gathered and documented from the outset.
* Overseeing the full product development lifecycle, working closely with subcontractor teams to ensure exceptional build quality and finish.
* Managing digital content across various content management systems, maintaining consistency and alignment with brand standards.
* Driving effective time management, ensuring all project milestones are achieved in line with agreed schedules.
* Conducting data analysis to monitor performance, identify trends, and highlight potential risks or areas for improvement.
* Providing strong leadership, motivating teams, encouraging collaboration, and addressing challenges or conflicts with confidence.
* Maintaining tight cost control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high standards and value.
* Utilising Monday CRM to track project progress and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
* Performing root cause analysis on project issues, implementing solutions to boost efficiency and performance on future builds.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management, with a solid understanding of construction methodologies and processes.
* Strong ability to gather, analyse, and clearly document project requirements.
* Familiarity with product development lifecycles and industry best practices.
* Experience with content management systems; proficiency is a plus.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
* Proficient in data analysis to support informed, strategic decision-making.
* Outstanding leadership skills, with a track record of managing and motivating cross-functional teams.
* In-depth knowledge of cost control strategies and budget management within construction projects.
* Hands-on experience using Monday CRM or similar project/CRM tools is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
