Hurst is looking to recruit an experienced and proactive Marketing and Admissions Assistant. Working as part of a small team, this is a hands-on role.
The Marketing Office is responsible for the external and internal marketing of the College and its key entry points. The Office handles all social and digital marketing, website content and updates, photography and videography and news stories as well as updating various online directories and magazines. The Admissions Office on the College site handles the entry process for all pupils entering the College and currently comprises the Director of Admissions and Marketing and two Admissions Assistants. Together they are responsible for the smooth running of the admissions process for the College, from initial enquiry and registration through to eventual enrolment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively source news and other information across the College for news stories and editorial
* Maintain listings and content on education and other online directories
* Assist with the design and production of internal and external literature
* Assist with photography and videography, as well as content for the school magazine
* To receive and respond to Admission enquiries, ensuring all are sent the relevant materials and information
* Assist the Admissions Team with packing prospectus packs for events
Person Specification:
* Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills
* Strong IT skills including a good knowledge of Excel and database management
* Knowledge of graphics packages e.g. Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Canva
* A degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, or related field
