Special Projects Procurement Manager
This position is located on-site in either Torrance, California or Daventry, UK.
Essential Functions
* Identify and engage with niche suppliers capable of providing high-quality, specialized materials and components, negotiating contracts and fostering long-term partnerships.
* Create and implement advanced supply chain strategies tailored to the restoration of one-of-a-kind vehicles, focusing on quality of execution and on-time delivery.
* Utilize the existing supply chain structure in the US and UK where appropriate, working closely with the teams to ensure alignment in sourcing approach.
* Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring the availability of unique materials while minimizing excess and waste.
* Manage all logistics operations related to the procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring they meet the specific requirements of each unique project and are delivered to the production team in line with build requirements.
* Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, adapt procurement plans as needed, ensuring that each build aligns with the client’s vision and our standards of execution.
* Identify potential risks in the supply chain process, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
* Champion process improvements in the supply chain to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate the quality of materials and components used in our unique builds.
* Contribute to the long-term growth of special wishes and special projects capability within the business.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
* Eight or more years of demonstrated experience in supply chain management, specifically within the automotive or custom manufacturing sectors.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
* Experience with low volume or bespoke production.
* Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP).

Physical Demands/Work Environment
* Must be able to participate in occasional travel for business purposes, including internationally.
* Must be able to work in a seated position for extended periods.
* Must be able to use fingers, hands, and arms at computer keyboard for extended periods.
* Must have ability to speak clearly and distinctly, hear and be heard and understood both in person and by telephone.
* Must have ability to work an early, non-standard schedule and long hours when needed.
Compensation
The starting pay range for this position in California is between $85,000 - $106,400 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
UK Benefits
