Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities Southampton Vascular Unit (22 bedded ward) is a tertiary referral centre of excellence for vascular surgery. It has strong links with the University of Southampton and is an integral subspecialty of the major trauma centre. The ward specialises in the perioperative care of patients requiring vascular surgery and multi-modal management of acute and chronic arterial and venous conditions. As regional centralisation of specialist services continues, the ward will become the hub unit for all complex arterial surgery in south Hampshire. What You’ll Do Your skills as a senior role model will be pivotal in supporting the personal and professional development of the department’s allied health professional and nursing team. With the support of the matron team, will ensure that quality agendas are being met, making certain that your team are delivering safe, effective, timely care in a caring and supportive way.
