We are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for an inspirational and highly motivated French specialist to join our talented department from August 2025. We are also in an exciting position where a TLR can be offered for the right candidate to lead our French department. Applications are encouraged from teachers with a passion for languages and an ability to offer French at KS3 and KS4. Regardless of experience, we offer excellent training opportunities and the chance to quickly progress within the Academy.
Languages is a strong, well-established faculty with students that enjoy Languages and are eager to learn. We welcome teachers who will be inspiring and knowledgeable within their subject and want to make a real difference to the lives of our students to ensure they feel valued and that they can succeed.
It is a very exciting time to join us at Lancaster; we are an 11-16 Academy with over 1000 students on roll. We are delighted that in February 2024, Lancaster was graded good by Ofsted. From August 2018, we became co-educational admitting girls for the first time, with now over 350 girls on roll. This has added an exciting dimension and a new dynamic to the Lancaster community.
