Overview of role The Admin Assistant role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, primarily focused on ensuring smooth daily operations of the office and providing administrative support to management and the board of directors. This includes managing documentation, maintaining office organisation and supplies, overseeing health and safety compliance, and assisting with various administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be highly organised, flexible, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Include Produce documentation for example letters, forms and reports. Assist with both digital and physical filing systems. Organise office layout, including furniture and artwork. Maintain office and housekeeping supplies to ensure smooth daily operations. Monitor relevant business insurance policy renewal dates. Monitor office safety; arrange repairs as needed. Provide administrative support to management and the board of directors. Assist with new employee onboarding. Arrange and promote statutory staff training. Review and update health and safety policies; ensure compliance. Troubleshoot office and warehouse issues. Ensure data compliance. Book ad-hoc staff travel and accommodation. Personal specification You will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar or relevant role. You will have the ability to manage your workload effectively, demonstrating you are well-organised and flexible. You will work to a high-standard and seek constant improvement. You will enjoy being part of a collaborative, fun team environment, working together to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently. You will have good written and verbal English and be numerate. You will have a confident phone and email manner. You will have a good working knowledge of either Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites. You will be ethical, honest and transparent in your work. What we offer Salary of £23,873.60 pro-rata to part-time hours. Proposed part-time hours are 9:30 - 2:30 pm Monday - Friday, with a degree of flexibility to suit the right candidate.
