Stowe seeks an enthusiasticand inspirational Head of Film and Media.
The successful candidate will be a highly qualified, dynamic classroom practitioner and departmental lead with an energetic and forward-thinking approach to teaching Film Studies at AS and A Level and also the Creative Digital Media Production BTEC Level 3. Stowe has a proud history of filmmaking and this is a popular and vibrant department. The Film and Media Department sits within the broader English Faculty and the ability to teach English at GCSE would be an advantage.
A willingness to contribute fully to the Department while also adding to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of a busy boarding school is essential.

Stowe School occupies Stowe House and approximately 200 acres of the Stowe estate, located in Stowe’s world-famous landscape gardens set in 880 acres. Stowe School is an independent co-educational boarding school with approximately 900 pupils. There are around 500 full and part-time staff, with 60 staff and their families living on site.
