Job Description
This new role is in the Finance Shared Services function of an international engineering & design consultancy company. This role will be primarily working from home with travel to other locations a maximum of 3-4 days per month. This position is within the Corporate Services accounting team reporting to the Head of COO Reporting based in the UK. The main activities are to process data for the preferred consolidated supplier & internal recharges and reconciliation.

Qualifications:
AAT part qualified.
Essential Criteria:
* The candidate must have relevant accounting experience.
* Strong reconciliation and double entry bookkeeping skills.
* Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including use and set-up of Pivot tables, lookups and other basic formula.
* Good English skills – written and verbal communication.
* Experience of an accounting software package.
Desirable Criteria:
Good working knowledge of Oracle accounting software.
Responsibilities:
* Processing of consolidated supplier recharges data using Excel and the Oracle accounting system.
* Uploading of supplier invoices to the intranet.
* Reconciliation of recharge accounts monthly.
* Ensuring costs are correctly recharged to the business, including resolution of coding queries.
* Liaising and coordinating with the Assistant Accountant and Head of COO Reporting on a regular basis.
* Ad hoc tasks.

* Sound analytical skills.
* Ability to work to deadlines and take responsibility - must be able to identify the deadline for a piece of work to be completed e.g. period end and take responsibility for ensuring that the deadline is achieved.
* Ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
* Organised - they must be able to work in a structured way demonstrating an audit trail.
* Good attention to detail.
* Team player – as a small team it will be necessary to cover colleagues’ workload.
Additional Information:
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview.
