Are you a Home Manager looking for a new challenge, who thrives on making a difference? This is an exciting role to manage an Outstanding care home due to the current manager's retirement.
The home is a settled and very successful 70 bed residential/dementia care home.
You will be supported by a deputy manager and 2 assistant managers, as well as a motivated and stable team of carers.
You will be an experienced home manager who puts your residents' needs first and inspires your team to provide the high standards this care home is known for.
1. You’ll be responsible for the success of your home, including financial results, resident satisfaction, team engagement, and external regulatory outcomes. You’ll also drive the development and growth of your team members.
2. You’ll use your specialist knowledge to ensure the delivery of all the care services to the highest standard.
3. You’ll oversee the home’s finances, including managing occupancy, ensuring you deliver on revenue targets, as well as budget planning and cost control.
4. Competent in creating and developing strong internal and external relationships.
You will be working 40 hours per week for a competitive salary of c£65k plus bonuses, plus other benefits including sick pay (after qualifying period) and pension.
About You
1. You’ll have a relevant care-related qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 4/5, Diploma in Social Welfare/Community Support). You must also demonstrate experience working at a management level in a similar residential elderly care, person-centred care and support role within a registered care setting, ideally with evidence of favourable CQC compliance ratings.
2. You will be an experienced Manager with significant people management skills and excellent communication skills.
