Summary: As an Associate Business Development Executive your primary duty is to assist EMEA Business Development Executives in the daily management of accounts, with tasks including management and preparation for various client meetings (Face to face or Teams), taking and providing comprehensive meeting notes during client meetings, direct management of any assigned client accounts in EMEA region. You will also support the Lead Generation Manager in identifying potential global drug development targets, conduct research into their respective development pipelines, identify the appropriate contacts and work with the Business Development Executive located in the territory in which the target resides, to manage direct cold calls or mailers, or manage geography specific marketing lead campaigns. The role also requires support in administrative tasks in such platforms as Salesforce.com, Teams, Pulse and HighSpot. You may also be asked to work with Marketing to organize the storage and shipment of Exhibition Booths and Marketing material to various events in the EMEA region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. This is a remote or office-based position with the candidate based in Europe. - Assisting EMEA Business Development Executives in both the internal and external management and organization of client meetings - Manage assigned accounts in close cooperation with the BD responsible for the corresponding territory - Attend trade shows in a supportive capacity, if required - Supporting the Lead Generation Manager, responsible for seeking out, finding, and developing new clinical business leads - Research various drug development companies, and update their information within SalesForce.com database - Making outbound calls to drug development companies including CROs, medical device, and cell & gene therapy organizations - Attend client meetings, either face to face, via phone or Teams, generate comprehensive meeting minutes within two days of the meeting - Follow up on requests for information from clients and the EMEA BD team - Respond to inquiries that come in via email, the website, by phone and/or through trade shows and log the respective activities in Salesforce.com - Manage PCI Site Visits, book rooms, organize internal attendees, collate slide decks and presentation materials - Attend PCI Site Meetings on behalf of the Business Development Executive (if appropriate) Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the stated position.
