We’re Hiring: 2 Recovery Coordinator's (Alcohol Treatment Pathway) In this role, you will play a key part in delivering and strengthening our alcohol treatment pathway, ensuring that individuals receive the right support at the right time. You will manage a caseload of individuals seeking support for alcohol use, providing tailored interventions that promote recovery and well-being. While your primary focus will be alcohol treatment, flexibility is essential, as you may be required to support other areas of the service when needed. Our Croydon service is a dynamic and collaborative team, made up of dedicated professionals, including a service manager, medical staff, caring nurses, recovery-focused team members, volunteers, peer mentors, and administrators. Location: Croydon Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (dependent on experience, pro rata for part-time hours) Allowances: £2,195.72 Outer London Weighting (pro rata for part time hours) Please note Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. What You’ll Do Provide consistent support to individuals, guiding them from their initial contact with our service through every step of their treatment and recovery journey. Deliver personalised interventions to reduce harm caused by alcohol use, including one-on-one support and group sessions. Develop and manage comprehensive detoxification plans, ensuring recovery-focused care with thorough pre-detox preparation and post-detox support. Collaborate with community organisations to expand recovery resources, such as mutual aid groups and other supportive networks. Advocate for the active involvement of families and the wider community in supporting an individual’s recovery journey. Help individuals connect with partnership services and networks, ensuring access to the resources they need for sustained recovery. Support social reintegration by promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination, enabling individuals to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. What You Will Bring Knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for individuals impacted by opiate use. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and confidence in using IT tools. The ability to work independently and proactively, with excellent time management. A strong understanding of mental health services and interventions. Teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and agencies. Adaptability and a focus on each individual's needs during times of change. A commitment to confidentiality, information governance, and safeguarding practices. A dedication to ongoing learning, professional development, and supporting the growth of colleagues.
