We have MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES for Senior Support Workers to join my client.
The mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Workers to join our team in making a meaningful impact on the lives of the children in Chard.
Salary: Up to £35,000
Location: Chard
Role: As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in working alongside managers to oversee the daily operations of the home, ensuring that both day and night shifts run smoothly. You will provide direct support to the children, act as a mentor and supervisor to staff, and take the lead in maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
Hours: Combination of early shifts (7.30 - 15.00), late shifts (14 - 23.00), long days (7.30 - 23.00), and sleep-in (23.00 - 7.30).
Senior Support Worker Requirements:
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or an equivalent qualification (e.g., a degree in Health and Social Care) or currently working towards it.
* Driving Licence: A full, clean driving licence is essential; candidates without one will not be considered.
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within a residential setting is required.
* Skills: Strong leadership abilities with the capability to mentor and support others.
