Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Guillotine Operative to work in their leading facility in Wem.
For the successful Guillotine Operative, our client is offering:
* Starting rate of £12.79 to £14.00 per hour
* 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, early finish Friday
* Overtime paid at T1/3 in the week, T1/2 Saturday & Double time Sunday
* Temporary-Permanent position
* 21 days holiday + bank holidays (once full-time)
* Overalls and uniforms will be provided
The role – Guillotine Operative
* Operating a 5-tonne gantry crane
* Ability to use measuring equipment
* Plasma and gas-cutting materials
* Monitoring the quality of completed components after they are cut
* Changing of the machine's consumable components as and when required
* Maintaining and improving housekeeping in the working area.
What our client is looking for in a Guillotine Operative
* Previous experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
* Gantry crane license (Training will be provided) - PREFERRED
