Pastoral / Behaviour Support Officer - Full-Time

Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated Pastoral / Behaviour Support Officer to join one of our partner schools in the Bradford area. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives by providing essential support with behaviour, well-being, and engagement in education.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
2. Monitor and manage student conduct, promoting positive behaviour across the school.
3. Offer guidance and intervention strategies to help students overcome challenges.
4. Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and senior leadership to implement behaviour support plans.
5. Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and incidents.
6. Build strong relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to support student welfare.
7. Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Requirements:
1. Experience working in a pastoral, behaviour support, or student welfare role within an educational setting.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young people.
3. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations effectively.
4. A proactive, adaptable, and empathetic approach to student support.
5. An Enhanced DBS on the update service is essential.
